Rights, Privacy, Advocacy & Community Safety

  • Pride Cultural Arts Center 1201 Harmon Place Minneapolis, MN, 55403 United States (map)

Goal: Give participants tools to protect their privacy, understand their rights, and advocate for themselves and others while keeping communities safe. Teaching people that knowing their rights and exercising them sometimes look differently.

Core Themes:

  • Knowing your rights can make unsafe situations safer.

  • Properly documenting things can provide evidence if it ever becomes necessary.

  • Digital privacy and physical safety are connected and equally important.

  • Advocacy becomes stronger when we work together and share resources.
